Teams Announced for Leanne Ehnat Championship Tournament |

The following teams are invited to the Leanne Ehnat Championship Tournament. As in the past years the top two teams from the Gold and Silver divisions are playing each other in a single elimination tournament. The Semifinals are being played at Harbor Ridge High School on December 6th for the Boys and Girls U11 leagues. The following teams will be playing at the designated times: | Time | Gender | Team

The Semifinals for Girls U12’s will be held on field #3 at the Washington Premier F.C. complex on River Road. Since we had only one division for Boys U12 they are directly seeded into the Finals and will play at Art Crate field on December 13th. New Spring League Announced |
In an effort to provide players with more opportunities to remain competitive throughout the entire soccer season, Washington Youth Soccer recently announced the establishment of a U11-U14 Spring League for Boys and Girls. Scheduled to run throughout February and March, the Spring League was developed to coincide with the recent changes to the soccer calendar that were approved last fall. Click here to learn more.

Sounders Sign Swedish Star Freddie Ljungberg |
|
The Seattle Sounders FC has signed midfielder Freddie Ljungberg to a multi-year contract, the team announced on Tuesday, October 28th. Here is the latest information regarding the Leanne Ehnat Championship: Semifinals
The semi-finals will be played on December 6, 2008. The U-11 semifinals will be played at Harbor Ridge Elementary in Gig Harbor. The U-12 semifinals will be played on the turf field at the Washington Premier F.C. Complex. Finals
The U-11 and U-12 finals will be played on December 13, 2008 at Art Crate Stadium (Bethel High School in Spanaway/Graham). The game times for the finals are as follows: - U11 Girls Final: 9 am
- U11 Boys Final: 11 am
- U12 Girls Final: 3 pm
- U12 Boys Final: 5 pm
The award ceremonies will be held on February 3, 2009 and February 10, 2009. More information will be published regarding the ceremonies when it is available. |
