TPCJSA Home League is a recreational league for our clubs within the TPCJSA boundaries. This league will run from the 1st Saturday after Labor Day until Thanksgiving. Only leagues with a Championship (U11 & U12) will play in early December.
U7 - U10 Small Sided
These teams will play games using the Washington Youth Soccer Small Sided rules. There will be no score or standings kept.
U11 Small Sided
These teams will play 9v9 using the format outlined below. All games will be scheduled to play on a Saturday. Games can be rescheduled to acommodate Recreational Cup games.
U12 - U14 Full Sided
These teams will play 11v11 with a 10 game season. All games will be scheduled to play on a Saturday. Games can be rescheduled to acommodate Recreational Cup games.
High School League
These teams will consist of a mixed age group from U18 - U15. All games will be played on Saturdays. Games can be rescheduled to acommodate Recreational Cup games.
The premise behind this league is from U15 and above the number of players significantly drops off. We suggest that clubs take these players aplace them all on a single team.
Standings & Tiebreakers
6-Points for a win, 3-Points for a draw, 0-Points for a loss, 1 point for each goal scored (max 3).
Tie Breakers - In the event of ties by points, the following system shall be used in order:
1. Result of head-to-head competition.
2. Fewest goals allowed.
3. Goal differential (5 maximum per game).
4. Co-champions (or co-seconds).
Note:
If a division has an odd number of teams that result in an unven amount of games played (i.e. some teams play 10 games and some play 9 games) we will add 6 points (per game) to the total points to each team playing fewer games. This will happen when the season is completed.
Score Reporting
Scores are reported online ONLY. To report your score go to the Team Pages link (found on the left) then find your division and your team name. Click on your team nome to bring up your team page then click on the "Team Logon" icon found in the upper right. Logon using your email address and PIN. Don’t have a PIN? Then simply click on the Missing PIN link and enter your email address. Your PIN will be sent to you within a few minutes.
The system is setup to allow only 1 team to enter the score and we prefer that it is the Winning team however it is on a first come first serve basis. If you have a score descrepancy then send an email to gameschair@tpcjsa.com and we will make any necessary corrections.
U11 Format
U11 is a unique year for our teams. It is the first time teams will have to report scores and standings are kept. Going into the U11 player year we really do not know how to best place teams so they face like competition. Our solution is what we call the U11 reshuffle. Everyone is scheduled to play a seeding season of 5 weeks (4-5 games). After five weeks there is a BYE week so that we can review the standings and rebracket everyone so that the second half of the season has teams more evenly matched.
The second half of the season has teams bracketed into divisons based on how well they did in the first half. The divisions will be Gold (highest), Silver, Bronze, Copper. At the end of the second half division TPCJSA will select teams to participate in the Leanne Ehnat Cup.
